Trump vows to find ‘leakers’ after reports of depleted Iran war munitions

President Trump denied reports that the U.S. military is running dangerously low on key munitions—particularly Patriot and THAAD air-defense interceptors and long-range precision missiles like ATACMS and Tomahawks—after five-plus months of war with Iran. In a Truth Social post he insisted the U.S. has 'massive amounts' of munitions and vowed that 'leakers' of these 'treasonous statements' would be 'hunted down' with 'long term jail sentences' sought. The denials followed reporting from Reuters, CNN, CBS and the Washington Post that the U.S. had used up much of its stockpile, that Trump clashed with Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth at Camp David over the shortages, and that munitions concerns partly drove Trump to call off a planned major strike on Iran.
